Dad’s Army 2

The Lost Episodes’ - a new play specially written and performed by the Tring Festival Company

Publicity Information

A stage play by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter
with kind permission of
Jimmy Perry and David Croft

26 Sept-4 Oct 2003

Back once more for some fun in Walmington-on-Sea our heroes return for this prequel to last years highly acclaimed sell out show, “A Tribute To Dad’s Army”.

We go back in time to WW2 and recreate two of the lost episodes, “The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Walker” and “Under Fire” last seen on TV in 1968. These episodes have never been seen since originally screened as the tapes are lost, presumed wiped.

Originally shot in black and white this is classic Dad’s Army and we give you the opportunity to see them for the very first time. These episodes are not available on video. Don’t miss out as we recreate a little piece of history.

£5.00 - £12.00
Curtain Up 8.00pm
Saturday Matinee 2.30pm
